Summary
Examines the lives of three Aboriginal stockmen: Bob Massey Pootchemunka, Bob's nephew Eric Pootchemunka and Eric's son Ian Pootchemunka who all have the same ambition, to operate an all-Aboriginal run cattle station at Ti-Tree in the Northern Territory. Archival photographs are shown throughout the film of the station that was in the past known by it's traditional name as Wenhka-nhiin - a lagoon that Bob's great-great grandparents lived at; Bob is shown as a 75 year old man carrying out general maintenance of the cattle station, including the cleaning of the horse saddles; Eric is shown making contact by radio to base to purchase supplies that need to be flown in; Ian is shown riding a horse about the paddocks; earlier archival photographs are shown of Bob mustering cattle that he and other Aboriginal stockmen would then 'drive' to Townsville to the markets
