Summary
Barbara Wentworth was the wife of the Honourable William (Bill) Wentworth, a politician, the first Minister-in-charge of Aboriginal Affairs in 1968, and the ‘founding father’ of the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies. Photographs from the Wentworth's trip across the Nullabor and to Cowombat Flats. Subjects include: portraits; road signs; residential buildings; landscape scenes; roads and highways; camp scene; pier; grave mounds; bushland; military forces camp
