Summary
"This second edition of Successful practice takes a similar approach to the first, providing glimpses of action drawn mostly from case studies prepared for the What Works website since 2006. We again make the point that these materials describe what was happening at a particular place, at a particular point in time. As such, they cannot be "up to date" but they can provide useful ideas and strategies for others to consider. We also make the point that the material presented here ranges from large scale action across regions to accounts of individual classrooms. Everyone can make a difference in their own setting." -- Introduction
