Summary
Footage shot in 1972 under the supervision of Brian Hayden, this film shows the making of a spearthrower by Tapatapa and Ngayuwa Tjangalatwo, two Pintupi men of the Lake MacDonald area, using traditional techniques with stone tools. The film inlcudes the making and resharpening of the choppers and adze used in the process and underlines the importance of the spearthrower
