p. 42- : Owen and his white fellows camp and work with their Aboriginal mates in Coopers Creek area where they found the Human Skeletons of Aborigines who lived there centeries ago. At first they collected the skeletons with the hopes could cash them in to the Universities who would pay 5 pounds for a complete skull. But their Aboriginal mates were scared and keep their distance from them; in their belief the sprits /ghosts will follow if someone touch these bones. Owen and his brother decided to choose his Aboriginal mates and threw the skulls away. They also found the site which were mound after mound of freshwater mussel shells where Aborigines from years gone by had camped. These sites must have been great feasting place. They also experience with some culture dances and food bush tucker from their Aboriginal mates
