Summary
This report was commissioned to provide an overview of Australian frameworks that describe Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people or services provided to them, with a health and wellbeing focus or component. Ten national frameworks are identified, both current and historical, and some conceptual and some for national reporting. Several details are provided for each framework: the reason for its development; its purpose; underpinning elements; reporting protocols; consultation processes; review processes; structure; and inclusion of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander principles. A particular interest for the commissioning organisation is the extent to which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people participated the development and implementation of frameworks
