Artist statement: "The yellow dots represent the Land Mother Earth. The twisting lines are the Mundagutta or Rainbow Serpent - the keeper of the Waterways, The animals and people in the middle are the tribes or skin groups. The seven people on the right of the painting live by the teachings of their Elders. The four on the left have given up their rights. They no longer practice law, lore, responsibility and accountability. The lines are the life forces between the Creator, Mother Earth and all who live on her. The white shapes with the red through them are the flora and fauna."
