Summary
  • The Warmun Art Centre is one of the most iconic Art Centres in Australia, producing world class artworks by highly acclaimed senior artists and supporting emerging younger artists. A small group of artists shares the story of their role as educators in the community. The two-way learning program at the local school was instrumental in the establishment of Warmun Art Centre, as artists used artwork to illustrate stories told in language. The local media were also involved in the shoot as an attachment to ICS. Warmun has begun its own archival project and the ICS shoot has enhanced this.
  • Part of the Art Gallery of Western Australia’s ‘Desert River Sea’ project
