Summary
Contains an analysis of 17 Dreaming narratives recorded by the anthropology researchers Catherine and Ronald Berndt between 1939 and 1943. The first 16 narratives were told at Murray Bridge by the Yaraldi man Albert Karloan who was the last fluent speaker of the Yaraldi language (from the Manangki dialect of the Yaraldi clan). The final Dreaming story, about the Crow and the Eaglehawk, was told in the Piltindjeri dialect of Yaraldi by Pinkie Mack in 1943
