Summary
Poster commissioned for the Commonwealth Department of Community Services and Health's National Campaign Against Drug Abuse, The Drug Offensive. A five colour screen printed poster which depicts a happy Aboriginal community: men on the right play football, whilst women and children picnic, dance and watch the game. Music from the radio blares the words :"Beat the grog. Give it up. It's not our culture. Leave it behind." This action frames a central oval vignette depicting a traditional scene in white on black, which shows a group of people gathered around a campfire, and cooking a kangaroo. The poster also features a wine cask with a skull and cross bones at the lower right corner
