This report provides the latest information on how Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are faring. This is the fifth biennial report of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Performance Framework, which monitors progress in health status outcomes, the broader determinants of health, and health system performance. It notes areas of improvement and concern, and considers trends over time and comparisons with the non-Indigenous population. Individual measures include: mortality, birth weight, morbidity, wellbeing, life expectancy, housing conditions, education, employment, income, crime and safety, child protection, transport, health behaviours, immunisation, service access, and health workforce
