Lizzie Barber; First person admitted to Maloga Mission 26 July 1874 about 14 years old with son Frankie nearly two; arrived from Moira with Sarah Walker (also about 14) and Sarah's son Herbert about 15 months; expressed a wish that her mother, Kitty Cooper, could join her at Maloga; Kitty and her son Jack (7 years old) and daughter Ada (5 years old) and sons Billy and Jacky came to Maloga from Moira Station, 4 August 1874; soon after Lizzie with her son arrived at the Misson, she with Sarah and her son were taken to Melbourne on a visit to Janet Matthews' parents. (Janet Matthews was the wife of Maloga Missionary, Daniel Matthews.); Lizzie learnt to read and write
