Antonio Mungo Ozias (Ozies); from Mindanao, Philippines; born July 1867; arrived in Australia November 1887; lived in Wupipi / Broome; employed as a pearl diver; later worked for the Roads Board; later in life he worked as a yardman at the Continental Hotel; on 15 January 1906 at the Broome Catholic Church he married Cecelia Nganagon, a Djugun woman from Broome; their first child, Phillip, was born on 1 March 1909; Antonio's wife Cecelia Nganagon died soon after Phillip was born; Phillip was brought up by Antonio's cousin, Lorenzo and Veronica bin Sarabim; Antonio had a place at Banana Well, on the Dampier Peninsula near Beagle Bay; he grew vegetables and farmed hens, ducks and goats at Banana Well and bartered with luggers in Beagle Bay Creek; he also had a fish trap; grandfather of Anthony Fitzgerald Ozies
